Please make the stupid passphrase optional!
Every System reinstall i had to reset my passphrase because i can not remember this s.h!t!
What is the thoughts about, to write this on a piece of paper to not forget and leave it in the drawer so everyone who searche for Passwords know where to find?
I don't need this and i'm very sure many other didn't need this too.
So make this crap "availible" but not "as a must"!

@marwin74 It is optional, you have to deliberately and manually add one yourself.

Also, passphrase is not asked on system reinstall, but only when you login to Sync and only if you have set up a passphrase.

@leocg I've done a clean Windows with a fresh Opera installation and i want to synch Opera. Opera force me to input my old passphrase to synch or to reset it with lost of my synched data.

@marwin74 Passphrase or password? They are not the same thing.

If you have change your Opera account password recently, the Sync may ask for the old one because your saved passwords were encrypted and stored using that old password and Sync/Opera needs it to be able to get the passwords.

If you haven't changed your account password, logging in to Sync is enough to get your saved passwords.

Now, if a passphrase have been set up, then you will also need to inform it. And the only way to remove the passphrase is by deleting the synced data.
