I came here first, since it works in the Standard Opera Browser.
I tried all the steps in the pinned post, it's basically the first extension I loaded after installing Opera GX for the first time.
Tried it by itself, reinstalled it a couple of times. That's when I downloaded and tried the Standard Opera Browser, and it worked as expected, even with other extensions installed.It's not communicating to the Password Manager itself, I suspect, which is why the icon stays white. That's the same thing that happens on all the other browsers If I exit out of the KPM application.
I'm on Win 10, everything up to date

@megalamaniac Since it's the third party program not working, you should contact them first.
It's an extension from Opera store? Or it's installed when you install Kaspersky?
Do they support Opera GX? -

They just sent me back here, basically. They don't support Opera GX, only the big four, IE, Edge, Chrome, And Firefox.
The extension works in all of those, and as I have pointed out in my previous posts, the extension works in the standard Opera Browser, but not in Opera GX.

@megalamaniac Check if it works in Opera 72, the version GX is based on.

borsan last edited byJust enable chrome extensions on opera then search Kaspersky password manager in chrome store and install it on opera, that worked for me fine.

I can confirm, it not working with Chrome Extension in Opera GX

I also use Kaspersky pw manager but I can't seem to add it to Opera not even the ordinary browser, so just wondering if you could give a few hints how you managed it. It works fine in my other browsers but I do prefer to use Opera for a number of things.

@bassett Hi, It is working on the normal Opera,
open this link in opera browser:

and it will ask you to use or enable Chrome extensions on opera, agree on that, then install it, it will work with you.
Inform me please if it did or not.

Raikox3 last edited bySorry for bump, but anyone got this to work with Opera GX? I used the link above to install the extension, but when I get prompted to use Master Password from the extension, it keeps saying invalid master password and the link to reset master password doesn't work.
PS:/ I know my Master Password, extension is bugged. Using latest Opera GX version as of this reply.

Confirmed. It works fine in regular Opera, but not in Opera GX. I suspect it might be a Native Messaging issue with the extension and the Kaspersky app when the extension runs in Opera GX.
I reported this as bug DNA-96393.

Still not working. I´m currently using Version 80.0.4170.91 of Opera GX.
Dunno if many users report this issue as a bug, like @burnout426 did, maybe Opera gets hands in the matter and make the extension work one day.
