@witheredrose Does it open in a regular tab? And in other browsers?

@leocg Yeah, it works on other websites. Both Facebook Messenger on sidebar and Messenger website doesn't work, it just shows full white site as shown in pictures above.
The same issue was reported on Opera subreddit, the issue is present on both Opera and Opera GX. -

It's not even the fault of the newest update, I'm on update from May and Messenger also doesn't work for me since today.

@enthnys Do you use any extensions? Maybe issue lies in them?
Edit: I just realised I haven't checked if messenger works without extensions.

@witheredrose i haven't added any other extensions recently .My current ones were working with messenger before today and have nothing to do with it as well.

@witheredrose Everyone who it stopped working for, all installed some extension at the same time ? That's highly unlikely.

So I disabled all my extensions and the messenger started working
I'll try them one by one now. -

@witheredrose i've disabled them all as well and it worked, but i need those extensions no matter what,so what's up with that they just stop working with messenger all of a sudden?
Neither deactivating them 1 by 1 is making messenger work you literally have to disable all of them. -

AdBlock is at fault here, I use 2: the one that comes with Opera - Opera Ad Blocker and uBlock Origin, when they are both disabled Messenger works, but if either one of them is enabled messenger doesn't work.

@witheredrose hmm, yeah i use ublock as well, pretty interesting tho.Has Facebook made an update which interferes with ad blocking?

@enthnys They probably did but it's not like they will inform us, users. So it looks like the fault lies in Facebook itself.
