Opera freezes when I click a dropdown box

I have been very impressed with the Opera browser until I have run into this problem. When I click on a dropdown box, Opera freezes. I cannot choose an item in the dropdown box, I cannot scroll the items in the dropdown box, and Opera complete freezes for at least 30 seconds. I have searched for a solution, and I have submitted a bug report, but I need a solution or I'm going to revert back to Chrome. Is there a solution for this problem?

Hey, try this:

1. Go to full browser settings.
2. Disable “Use hardware acceleration when available” option.
