No, nobody has been banned because of it and nobody will ever be banned because of it. Because this extension only automates what you can do manually and nothing else. -

@msarnowski19: What exactly doesn't work for you?
Because I tested it on all browsers and nothing changed, still works like always. -

Don't dowloand, doens't work, the add-on can't open the page showing keys and you can't claim games on steam web version

@gffnow I really dunno what you expect exactly from this add-on, but it still works as intended. I use it myself almost every day and there are no issues.
The Add-On doesn't open any page showing Keys, you simply select a valid Text /Key on any Website and then right-click and select the entry, it then will open the Steam website, paste that key in there redeem it automatically. That's all.
And for that to work you of course already need to be logged on the steam webpage else only the login prompt will show up.

I'm confused what the use case for this is. I've never seen anything where you just go to a list of (stolen?) steam keys to choose from before. I'm honestly kinda taken aback. Could you get into legal trouble for using ... whatever that is shown?

@beeters The images shown are from sites where you can buy bundles, there, the legally acquired keys are usually displayed in this way. But there are also other possible applications, such as Keys from giveaways or those posted on Reddit or Discord etc.
Of course I can't guarantee that none of the keys people try to activate were stolen, but that doesn't matter, because this extension does absolutely nothing other than what you can do manually.
The sole purpose of this extension is to make activating keys faster and more convenient. And in order for this to work smoothly, the user must be logged in to the Steam website and the key to be activated must be valid.
I can therefore also rule out that someone will get into legal difficulties because of the use of this extension.
