Macbook Air will not install Opera

I am on OS 'Big Sur' version 11.2.3 on my Macbook Air.
When I try to install the recommended Mac Opera browser I receive the below message

“Opera Installer” can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software.T his software needs to be updated. Contact the developer for more information.

This is my first time of installing this browser so I have no out of date versions on my Mac, any ideas please?

Me too my Macbook Pro is up to date to macOS Big Sur 11.2.3 I was trying to install "Opera" but didn’t work.
