Hello, Earlier today I Updated my AMD Display Drivers to version 27.20.1032.2. Then I opened Opera GX and Saw that Opera GX is nothing but a Black Screen. I Tried restarting, re-installing, etc. but nothing happened. Then I started rickrolling, I mean rolling back the drivers. And, It worked. I know the cause of the black screen.
This is a critical problem because a lot of people are going to start updating too.
How to reproduce:
- Have an AMD Ryzen CPU
- Go to Windows Updates
- Check for updates
- Under Optional Updates you can install your Opera-Breaking Display Driver (Don't)
Exact Name of the Update: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. - Display - 27.20.1032.2
My Computer specs:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 4800H with Radeon Graphics
- RAM: 16GB
- GPU 0 (Deticated): NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti
- GPU 1 (Intergraded): AMD Radeon Graphics

@dan-gaming The problem happens with regular Opera? What about other Chromium based browsers?

@leocg I know it works on chrome because I used it while trying to fix the problem. I might try regular Opera sometime later.
