All videos don't render in Opera GX after latest update. Don't know what the version is, but today is Nov 6 2020. This started as soon as Opera updated recently. -

@nostraozzy Any difference if you disable chrome://flags/#disable-accelerated-video-decode? Is your graphic card drivers up to date?

Interesting, it worked after disabling hardware acceleration. I'm getting the nvidia drivers now instead of using the ones supplied by the manufacturer for the laptop's nvidia gfx card, and will see if that makes a difference.

@nostraozzy @leocg even with latest nVidia drivers, I still needed to disable hardware acceleration for videos in Opera GX's latest version, in order to properly render videos. This issue did not occur with the prior version.

@nostraozzy It wouldnt be a first time the dev team changed the default value of a specific setting, so this might have been the only change in between both versions. ( I did not check if this happened in this case, just for your information).

Fair enough. Vids play with HA disabled, so that works for me
