@cybergata: @cybergata: Now it is working. I don't know why it took about 20 minutes before it worked, but all is good in the end. I hate the New FaceBook.

Need a bit of help here,installed facebook old layout and it does not work I have tried and tried but to no avail??? am using opera browser windows 10 os.

@Bowaca Which version of Opera on which OS? I am trying to figure out why it works for most people but not for a few. Do you have any other extensions installed?

@mattkruse the latest opera and windows. 10. Have tried disabling other extentions makes no difference

@Bowaca The one problem I had was I had a link on my speed dial. The Old Layout didn't work when I clicked on my speed dial, even after reloading the page. The same was true when I added a bookmark to the bookmarks. I found a weird way around this. I opened my bookmarks, and then from that tab, opened the speed dial bookmarks. I clicked on my link to open FaceBook, and it opened in the Old Layout. It takes a few extra steps, but to me it is worth doing so. I'm dyslexic and the New Facebook is way too busy for me to focus easily. I'm sure after feeling annoyed and crazy for months, I could adapt, but I am happy that I don't have to go through that by having the Old Layout, I have a dozen extensions I use and didn't have to disable a single one.

@cybergata Thanks yes that fixed it, as long as I do not use the speed dial, and just use the address bar all works well, now I have to find a way that I can use the speed dial though if I think about it is not that important, thanks mate you helped greatly. B

The new design is ugly and hard to use. a Mobile UI for desktop. I should fire their UX department for this. Thanks man, this plugin is just brilliant. Not all heroes wear capes

@Ambaradanner If you open a new tab and type in facebook.com does it work? Are you trying to access from Speed Dial? It works well for me in all my tests, as well as for thousands of other Opera users. I'm trying to figure out why a few people seem to have issues.
