I can't set the browser as the default

I just can't set it as a default, neither for the browser settings (squeeze and nothing happens) nor for the windows itself (it doesn't even appear) and I don't know what to do, since most things open via internet explorer, any solution?

You need to reinstall Opera and make sure that when you launch it, the install path is C:\Program Files/Opera and check "Make Opera Default Browser." Also, go to Control Panel > Default programs > Set Opera as your default programs.

sorry for the delay in giving a result, I had some external problems, so, I reinstalled it, however, in the location you told me and I chose the option to set it as the default browser, they may not work, and in the windows settings to set it as the default, it doesn't even appear

I managed to fix it, the only thing I had to do was format my computer
