Recently updated to LVL1 (core: 68.0.3618.142) and the sidebar immediately disappeared. All the grouped links and pages are gone. I cannot locate them in my sync. Yes, sidebar is enabled.

@leocg I see the Speed dial open - it is empty where before the update I had approximately 10 named groups of sites and a number of individual sites linked for ready reference outside the bookmarks. I am assuming it's something wrong within the sidebar. Perhaps that is an incorrect assumption.

@leocg - yes. I rather assumed the presence of the speed dial hinged on the operation within the sidebar - if I'm mistaken I'll accept that but the sidebar changed the moment I ran the update and that was when I also noticed the speed dial was gutted and absent from all the sites I had grouped in there.
I have tried pulling back from my Sync storage with no success either.

@leocg I mean if I select to enable (check) the Bookmarks from right-clicking on the sidebar - nothing shows up. If I select settings and drill into the Sidebar I can get the bookmarks (the heart icon) to appear - but all the pages are missing. They are not found in my bookmarks file, not listed in the "Speed dial" section.
I did find something under my bookmarks folder called "Other Speed Dials" - drilling down (2 levels) has a bunch of the links marked for deletion (which I did not do). I'm going to try and recover those and see if I can't rebuild the speed dial I had before.
