srsly I loved it so much why remove it? instant search is the only reason I prefer using opera for other than other browsers.

Well I use Opera GX and i checked for updates today , it is up to date and there is option of instant search here in sidebar also it can be done using alt+space. I recently uninstalled the main opera browser maybe they have removed the option there.

After updating, I realized Instant Search was gone! This was the main feature that deemed Opera more superior than any other browser. Even if it was only a negligible amount of people who used it, at least make it so that you have to enable it manually.
This feature was underappreciated and I'm so sad to see it go. If it doesn't come back, I'll be forced to stay on the previous version until it does.

It was actually Alt-Space on Windows, I thought. But, I agree ... it's a missed feature now.

Alt + Space instant search is one of the best features which opera has. We really need this back.
