It was actually Alt-Space on Windows, I thought. But, I agree ... it's a missed feature now.

This was the main feature that deemed Opera more superior than any other browser. Even if it was only a negligible amount of people who used it, at least make it so that you have to enable it manually.

This feature was underappreciated and I'm so sad to see it go. If it doesn't come back, I'll be forced to stay on the previous version until it does.

I recently uninstalled the main opera browser maybe they have removed the option there.

I really love the new enhanced address bar. for the ones who didn't see it yet;

I believe this is a feature that you can replace with instant search with some improvements. it expands on focus and if we can search the web with custom search engines (with using keywords), history, bookmarks, tabs, extensions, flags, etc. that would be a really good feature and in my case, I would be happy with it. I believe search in tabs is a very limited feature cause it's only focusing on the tabs.
