Hello, the problem I get anytime I try to synchronise Opera on my Windows 7 PC or the Opera Mini for Android is a crash. After entering all required data-username/e-mail, password- it crashes and I have to lose all I have wanted to backup by synchronising; a simple reinstallation doesn't fix the problem and I have to uninstall first before I get opera back. The main reason why I'd lose all data.

Despite I don't know the why, try with a Private window Ctrl+Shift+N or create a clean profile (check at Windows FAQ in forum) and try if sync works.

Then, to rebuild the profile with needed files.

• OMenu > Help > Find Solutions >> Backup your Opera files

(Be careful do not restore the problem)

Also, you can create a copy of the original profile and try deleting Opera cookies and cache, if is enough then you can avoid to create a clean profile but at least do a profile folder back up.
