Fx. Adblock Plus are a part of a program called 'Acceptable Ads' which allows certain ads, with adblocker on, on certain websites.
I noticed some ads on a website that i haven't whitelisted and was wondering since there's no AdBlock lists available to see and edit/remove/add. I don't want to be a part of that movement, so therefor i wanna ask if, Opera is a part of the Acceptable Ads program?
I don't want to have to install a extern Adblocker. I hope i don't need to.

I just came across a website, where an AD wasn't blocked. That's why. Because i know that Adblock Plus get pay'd by big companies like Google, Facebook, Microsoft etc. to get their ads shown.

          So this isn't the case?

What site? It's kinda impossible to block all ads so one or another may escape from adblocker eventually.

Also Opera's adblocker has some sites listed as exceptions by default.

I removed all exceptions, so I can choose myself.

              • but in ADGuard, you could choose elements on the page and block them, manually.
This is the feature, I'm missing from Opera's integrated ADBlocker.

There have been some requests on it.

With uBlock Origin, it is easy to make exceptions.

opera's adblock filtering might not be absolutely perfect, but certainly good enough for me.

while it may not catch every last advert compated to ublock (on some of my setups), but sfw: i don't get annoying ads and can easily switch off the adblocker for visiting websites i like and want to support by allowing their adverts.

opera has got bigger fish to fry, imo.

@athlonite yeah, that might be right, but many people enjoy getting all in one packages. That's why I say what I say.
