Hi, I just bought a new MacBook Air and tried to download Opera. I downloaded the version for Mac and it was installing then stopped and keeps giving me the "we could not install opera on your Mac. Click try again after checking your connection" message the page won't open at all. I checked my internet connection and it's fine, I checked on my firewall which is on but I added opera as the list of sites that can have access to my connection. I haven't installed any virus protection on my Mac yet that could be blocking it so I don't know what else to do. I read something about proxies but I don't know which ones to choose or not to choose. Could someone please help me, I really miss using Opera as my default browser.

Hi, there should be a link there saying something like "Get Offline Installer", this should help you in case the installer has problems downloading. Just click it and download what comes next
If that doesn't work, here's a full link to the offline installer: http://www.opera.com/download/get/?partner=www&opsys=MacOS
