Merging separated windows not always work

Well, in Chrome I drag an ungrouped window to group it with others and I do it easily, in GX I'm having a hard time doing that, and when I can't just open a new window, what am I doing wrong?

@hany0u Don't know, I've tested here and it seemed to work. I really don't use GX or that feature , so I don't have a parameter.
