[Solved]"Skip to Main Content" showing on every page

Hi there,
For the last few days I’ve noticed that Opera is defaulting to showing accessibility menu options on different websites, including Google and Facebook. This usually shows up as “skip to main content” on Google, and when I press the arrow keys in Facebook, the accessibility controls take over.
This is happening on multiple Macs, both on Mojave, and is something that only started happening within the past few days.
The problem only appears when I open up a new tab; if I reload the tab, the accessibility function goes away entirely.
I see that @beboss is also running into this problem with a developer build on Catalina. That makes me think that this might have been something that got into a stable build.

@ernie Happening here too on Mojave Opera, mostly when doing a Google search, but sometimes on other pages too: showing "Skip to Main Content" box.

Echo here. Same story with the newest Opera running under Catalina (10.15.2)

@ernie Same; it happens on every version of Opera past version 64.0.3417.92 and has been driving me nuts. You'll notice if you downgrade to the last 64.x version ( 64.0.3417.92 ) it will go away...but of course that is not a long term solution.
Here's the <div> that's getting unintentional[(?) I hope so] exposed on google search result pages: https://imgur.com/NRptN7y

It's definitely some difference between 64.x and 65.x ; the new Opera GX for Mac is (currently) based off the 64 build
Opera GX
LVL1 (core: 64.0.3417.150)Opera is up to date
Update stream:Early Access
System:Mac OS X 10.15.2 64-bit
...and the 'Skip to Main Content' pop-up does not appear there either.

Glad I’m not alone here! The question: When will this be fixed? It’s getting old.

Same problems here on Mac Catalina. Also made a bug report because it's been driving me crazy.

Ugh. This is so annoying—the fact that this navigation annoyance has been a problem for more than a month and they don’t seem any closer to fixing it makes me really want to switch browsers.

For those who are interested:
I have just made a discovery (a workaround?). Normally, I've hidden the sidebar because I don't like the design with the upright buttons, but as a test, I've displayed the sidebar, and there you go: The "Skip to content”-messages have disappeared. Fingers crossed! -

@operaoperandi I tried the workaround, but it does not appear to have any effect in my own copies of the latest Opera, Opera Beta & Opera Developer. I'm still getting the "Skip to main content" box every single time on google search results.

Well, there seem to be several reasons for this error. Since I displayed the sidebar, I don't have any "Skip to main content" messages or buttons to press anymore. It works for me. I suppose you've probably already set Opera to its original state (restore). Maybe it's still useful to check the extensions.
