You go to a site and they ask you to accept cookies or you can’t view the content. So you accept and opera holds on to that cookie and if you go back to that site they may use those cookie’s to compile a historical record of your activities. Some sites you may want to retain their cookies as they can be helpful but others no. So here is how to tell opera to delete the ones you don’t want.
Go Menu (opera icon top right) – Settings – Advanced - Privacy and security - Site Settings - Cookies – see all cookies and site data. Now find the cookie you don’t want and click on their arrow right – Highlight and copy its title – Hit arrow back – and again – Now hit the add button to the right of clear on exit – paste in the copied title. Now every time you exit opera those pesky cookies will be removed and the ones you want won’t. -
