Empty (blank) bookmark name

When I right click one of my bookmarks in the bookmarks bar I cannot have an empty name - the save button is disabled, so I have to put a space in or some other text. I can click the menu Bookmarks -> Show All Bookmarks and then edit, here it does allow an empty name. Inconsistent. It clearly supports no name so please allow me to do this from the edit bookmark dialog. I have a bunch of bookmarks with no name because I can clearly identify them from their icon.
Also, the spacing between the icons is huge. It's massive compared to Chrome. It seems unnecessarily wide, there's nearly room for a whole other icon in the gap.
