Opera quits when closing window

When Opera has one regular window open in fullscreen and one or more private windows in full-screen, closing a private window with "command + w" will cause Opera to quit.

Opera version 57.0.3098.116, running on macOS Mojave.
Steps to replicate:

1. Open a new window in Opera (may or may not have multiple tabs), visit some websites, and move this window to fullscreen.
2. Open a new private window in Opera (with or without VPN turned on), visit some websites, and move this window to fullscreen.
3. Navigate to the private fullscreen window and enter "command + w" to close the window.
4. Opera quits.

Any suggestions on what could be going on?

Hi @alex-abrahamson, this was an issue on old versions of Opera. It was already solved and the fix was available with an update. I can see you're still using old version. Please update and the problem will be solved.

I experience a similar problem when having multiple windows opened and closing a tab in one of them sometimes Opera will quit entirely.

I do not have the precise step to replicate the issue unfortunately.

Version:60.0.3255.70
Opera is up to date

System:Mac OS X 10.14.4 64-bit
