I've been using Opera for a couple weeks, it works fine, everything runs smooth. Made the switch from Pale Moon for a particular extension that I like.

However, every time I open the browser, I get the pop-up window asking if I want to set Opera as my default browser. I've tried answering 'Yes', 'No', closing the window, and checking the 'Don't Ask Me Again' box, but nothing works. I've also tried setting Opera as default browser in the Options Menu, as well as through Windows' internal system settings. Nothing works, as I still get the same pop-up every single time I open the browser.

Running on Windows7 x64. Have not had this problem with IE, Firefox, Pale Moon, Chrome, or Maxthon.

      Any help is appreciated.

Not sure if necessary, but did you try running it with admin privileges? Usually shift-right click, run as administrator.

Why do you need to shift to right click? You can get to run as admin without holding shift.

Oh, you are right. The shift is to add the option to run as another user. So not necessary.
