      Hello,
      I have some servers with self signed certs (signed by one ca) and I want to trust these websites. Unfortunatelly I'm receiving all the time warning about wrong certificate. My system is linux mint 19 and opera version 56. What I've tried to do:

      • load ca crt file into opera (setting -> advanced -> sec -> manage certs -> cert authorities)
      • load ca crt into system (cp crt /usr/local/share/ca-certificates/ && update-ca-certificates OR cp crt /usr/share/ca-certificates/extra && dpkg-reconfigure ca-certificates)
      • enabled option "Allow invalid certificates for resources loaded from localhost." in opera://flags

      I've imported my ca into firefox and there my website is working fine without any warning.
      Dear Opera could you give us a proper way to import ca and get rid of this annoying warning?

      Regards
      KS

        Is the server on localhost (i.e., your own computer), on your LAN, or accessible over the internet? The error suggests that the name on the certificate doesn't match the domain name.

          this is server in LAN - fqdn is mapped in /etc/hosts and is the same like CN in server crt.
          ps. date of expiration is fine also
