VPN not working

Hi,
I was using Salix linux for several years and Opera VPN used to work fine without any issues. However, opera VPN is not working for the past couple of months. I switched from Salix to Manjaro (for different reasons) and installed opera on it. However, I see that opera VPN doesn't work more. Without VPN enabled, opera works fine for browsing.
I am in Madison, WI, USA.
Can someone help?

One possibillity is VPN Passthrough on your router, as most routers have it enabled by default for all three protocols - ipsec, pptp, l2tp. The passthrough allows VPN connections. Some may have it disabled.
That is just one thing that can inhibit the VPN, though. -
