Opera 51.0: Settings page crashed

Every time i try to open the settings i get this error-message:

Renaming the preferences-file did not help. All extensions are disabled.
With a new .config/Opera directory everything works fine, but i would like to avoid to start from the very beginning...

Any suggestions?

@gloewa Start copying folders and files from the old profile until you find what is causing the problem.

i am not sure if it is an opera- or a pclinuxos-issue.
