Opera Has become Intolerably Slow

Windows 7, O34, sometimes it take 1 or 2 minutes just to open the window "About Opera"

Not sure what is going on, before no probmes, Opera performed like a gem

Issue identified, nothing to do with Opera. Windows update service has suddenly now uses 100% of CPU. I am trying to fix this.
