Opera Mini for Haiku OS?

This may be a long shot, I know, but so what: let's have a go at it.
The volunteer project Haiku OS is finally getting ready for beta release towards the end of 2017 and the biggest thing missing is a modern browser.
When BeOS was still alive, the bestest browser was Opera 3.x (still available from Opera's ftp servers), but sadly waaaay outdated for today's internet and won't run in Haiku anyway.
I'm just wondering about the possibility to recode Opera Mini for Haiku, as it has been adapted for many other operating systems before.
HaikuOS is a recreation of BeOS (which almost became the base for Apple's OS X before Jobs' NeXT). It's slim, fast and aimed for desktop use without the bloat of the monolithic Linux kernel.
There is some additional input from cooperation with some BSD Unix groups and Google/Alphabet Inc supports the development byp including the project into 'Summer of Code' sponsoring young programmers,
Would be fantastic to get Opera on board as well.
Any thoughts and discussions esp from the Mini devs would be greatly appreciated.
