Why Does Opera Automatic Updates Place New Speed Dial Entries??

Not a big deal, but with the new 32.0.1948.69 I get a couple new Speed Dials, one from Alibaba and another from Amazon (which I ALREADY have on my Speed Dial page) and one from booking.com and another from SurfEasy???.
Is it necessary for Opera to f*^# with my already installed data??

Opera needs to make money somehow and this is how they do it. Just think of it as a cost of getting a free product.

Oh, I found your post before I started my own thread about this. I'm glad to know it was a normal thing, anyway, and not malware related.

I've been trying to figure this out too. Is it really delivered with updates? I swear it's happened twice since the last time Opera updated.

What were the links that were added to the speed dial? If you can remember what they were we might be able to tell you. I know theres also a shortcut to add things to the speed dial (Ctrl+Shift+B iirc) and I was finding myself accidentilly adding things to the speed dial so much that I disabled it.

Of all the links added to mine, only one was to a site I have ever actually visited with the browser, so I don't think I accidentally added any of them.
