Description: When trying to log back into hotmail via opera mini, sign in page only has box for email address & box below says Next, not password or sign in as it used to.
Actual: I select next after entering address & I get a blank page with MS logo at top and two boxes that literally say images.
Expected result: I should see a box for password & sign in & then I should be able to select them in order to gain access to my outlook account.
OS: Microsoft Windows Phone Denim 8.1
Phone model: Lumia 640 LTE Windows Microsoft
AUSTRALIA Telstra
Data saving mode: I turned off as it's not applicable according to my phone. I did have on high, but made no difference
URL: Hotmail.com
Version opera mobile: 9.1

Hi, Opera Mini for Windows Phone is no longer supported.
Try IE (built into your phone)
or UC Browser (https://goo.gl/XJWZyU) -

Thankyou so much mcendreet! I tell you, this Microsoft phone is so limited in so many ways that I think that the only solution is to buy a Samsung. You can't download more than 20mb's on it either - so restricting!
I do love the software as far as emails and texts go, but that's about it really. The default browser and default Microsoft outlook app is inferior to the mini opera and I can't always get the full download or message.
Windows phones chew up an enormous amount of data, so Opera Mini was a godsend. I will try downloading the UC Browser.
Thanks again as you are the only person that has bothered to help me :)>

ps. mcendreet: Do you know why Opera Mini is no longer supported for Windows phone??
I have always been fanboy Nokia/ Microsoft because the software is so superior, but it seems that Windows phones are not that conducive to social networking, videos or even other browsers. Microsoft has enforced too many restrictions on it's mobile devices and they really are only suitable in a business work environment.

Thankyou leocg. Having a Windows phone, and with all of it's restrictions, I can understand why they don't have a larger market base. What phone do you have... I clearly need to buy another phone.

mcendreet: The UC browser is saying that it's not available for my device. And hotmail on IE is deplorable. So I have to use the default Outlook app that is Microsoft and it really is inferior to Mini Opera. I detest Microsoft phones now!
I should never have logged out - first time since last year. I just wish that there was some way of retrieving the hotmail site via my mini opera history or phone history? I still use mini opera for Facebook, youtube & google so I have only lost my email access - albeit a very important site

Wow. Won't comment on here again. Now I have lost my google and youtube on mini opera which were fine until I posted. How do I delete this commentary

Leocg you are toxic. Always wondered why you post so frequently - clearly an Opera mole.
Within hours of mentioning that all of my other mini opera sites were fine (have been for years), all of a sudden I can no longer access them. Wonder who orchestrated that? So wish that I didn't sign up to this forum. Others beware - they have your IP address. Dangerous!

^^^Hahaha please disregard the above comment. Had a lil' too much vino and got a bit paranoid when Opera sites produced blank pages. Leocg I am sure that your 11137 posts are all in goodwill
