Can't drag and drop a file from downloads bar to an application

I often work with Adobe Photoshop, so sometimes I need to open a downloaded picture in this program. I used Chrome previously and have a habit to drag and drop picture straight from the download bar in the browser to the Photoshop icon on my taskbar in order to open the picture (in Photoshop). Unfortunately, this doesn't work with Opera, once I click on download bar and drag a downloaded picture (or any other file) to an application it doesn't go beyond opera.

Opera does not have all of the features that other web browsers have. Much like not all web browser have features that Opera has. While Opera and Chrome do share a renderer then do not share an interface.

Okay. Does this mean it's not a feature worth adding? I had this habit too. I find it's possible but both windows need to be visible. If you drag onto an item on the taskbar and try to drop after it comes up, it doesn't work.
