Hello, i've been trying to install Flashplayer in linux mint cinnemon but none of solutions proposed on the forums seem to help, no chance in installing it.
hope you can help getting it run?

Should just be "Install the latest version of flashplugin-nonfree" on the latest version of Cinnamon. If you already installed it, reinstall to get the latest version.

Hi there, I recommend installing flash plugin manually, which mean that you can get the latest update of Adobe. Full tutorial can be found at How to install Flash for Opera manually

This new Opera is a mess. The flash plugin doesn't work, the "key" where it showed a stored username/password is gone and the browser wants access to my "wallet," at startup. Do I trust a new program that much? No way. I used to use Opera to play games in SWF, they don't work. Videos on Youtube? No, not any more.

Here are my stats : Linux Slackware64 ver 14.1

I can't even tell where the program is. I'm showing opera-12.16 under /usr/lib64 and another (version unk) under /usr/local/share/opera. It is true that a new version was needed but this one is not it.

Opera now uses your system's password management to store its own passwords (and if you tell it to it will try to import passwords from another browser, but only if you ask and not always successfully). If you don't give it access you won't be able to save passwords, but Opera should work otherwise. And no, it doesn't show a key - it fills in passwords automatically like all Chromium-based browsers do.
