Why Plex does not appear in my Operatv?

I have a Samsung HT-J5500W and coundn't find Plex App. So after a little google search I came across this:
https://forums.plex.tv/discussion/180054/plex-url-for-opera-tv-url-loader-does-not-work-anymore
I followed the directions of plexgramm. And I got plex to work.
Basically you have to sign in to https://publish.tvstore.opera.com/ and create an account as if you are a developer.
Next it will ask you for the developer code for your Opera device. I found mine under the Tools option.
Once your device is linked to the Opera website you should see a new tab called "Developer"
Under the Developer tab you have the option for the URL Loader. Type in http://plex.tv/web/tv/opera and log into plex as if it was a new device.
Hope that helps.

Thank you, trialsking! This is the solution! First, i didn't found the Tools options, but then i realized it's only showing up when under "My Apps" in Opera TV Store in the Upper Right Corner.
Thank you!

Tried to follow trialsking's instructions to get Plex on my Hisense H8C.
Couldn't get it to work though, as when accessing the Opera TV Store on my TV it doesn't have the My Apps option.

hi, i have the same problem. I succeed to be recorded as a developper and to find the uruploader, when i write the proper url: http://plex.tv/web/tv/opera and press go....nothing happens. Is this url blocked by opera now? Why nobody has an answer?

you need to create a developer account with opera, then link your device.

Able to get plex on my bluray player through this workaround, but Alexa doesn't recognize the player. Anyone find a way to make it work?

- Make dev account in Opera TV
- Link that account to your bluray player link: https://publish.tvstore.opera.com/paired_devices/
- Go to Opera tv store on your device.
- First tab is now "Developer"
- Use url as http://plex.tv/web/tv/opera
Voila

No dev tab appears...lovely.
And why is the device ID 5 million characters long?

Just tried it on a HiSense TV. As the site opens the PLEX splash screen comes up then a red window appears over the screen "unavailable".
