<![CDATA[Why Plex does not appear in my Operatv?]]>Hello. Many people in the Plex forum can see Plex application in operatv in sony bravia w series, but I can not. influences this in Spain? When Plex will be added to operatv in 40w605?

As the site opens the PLEX splash screen comes up then a red window appears over the screen "unavailable".

I have a Samsung HT-J5500W and coundn't find Plex App. So after a little google search I came across this:

I followed the directions of plexgramm. And I got plex to work.
Basically you have to sign in to https://publish.tvstore.opera.com/ and create an account as if you are a developer.
Next it will ask you for the developer code for your Opera device. I found mine under the Tools option.
Once your device is linked to the Opera website you should see a new tab called "Developer"
Under the Developer tab you have the option for the URL Loader. Type in http://plex.tv/web/tv/opera and log into plex as if it was a new device.

Tried this on Aug 05, 2017 and it still works. Got PLEX working on my Samsung HT-J5500 5.1 surround sound system.

  1. Make dev account in Opera TV
  2. Link that account to your bluray player link: https://publish.tvstore.opera.com/paired_devices/
  3. Go to Opera tv store on your device.
  4. First tab is now "Developer"
  5. Use url as http://plex.tv/web/tv/opera

Couldn't get it to work though, as when accessing the Opera TV Store on my TV it doesn't have the My Apps option.

It seems the same issue exists for many other brands, as noted in this forum.

OPERA - Have you any idea how many users buy a device for Plex? What are you doing about this? No response to the thread for a year now!
