If one right clicks on a bookmarks folder one is given three options of "Open all ..." but this tries to open all the links within subfolders as well. I suggest a modification so the links within subfolders are not opened as well, just the links in the main folder one is accessing. This would bring Opera in line with Chrome. This is helpful (to me, at least) because I put more frequently accessed links in the main folder, and less frequently accessed links in subfolders. It is the more frequently accessed links I want to get at through the "Open all ..." commands. Thanks

So you would like a 'open all' menu that doesn't do what it says? Interesting. 🙂

I would like Open all that is in line with what Chrome does, because it is more convenient. The longer definition of open all would become "Open all bookmarks within this folder but not with subfolders" rather than "Open all bookmarks in this folder and all its subfolders".

"Open All' should o what it says and open everything. Maybe there could be another menu item to open just what's on that folder.

Even better, bookmarks could just be eliminated, extinct.

What would you replace bookmarks with?

Full text index, the best Opera Presto feature. (Almost) No need to bookmark anything but just remember what the page was about or its content.

But really, with information and pages changing too often, there always be a chance that bookmarked pages are obsolete after a little time. Also you can find most pages with search engines.
