Timer?

I just updated the app for my Android 5.1 phone and I noticed this new timer. Can y'all please explain what it's about? When the timer runs out do I have to purchase more time because that is no bueno. I use this app to save money by saving data. If I have to pay to save data it defeats the purpose.

Where are you seeing this timer?

I'm on Opera Max 1.7.8, which according to the Play Store is the current version, and I don't see any timer.

Don't know if they removed it at some point but Max used to have a timer and you needed to click on it after a while to reset the timer and keep the app working.

Don't know, probably a way for them to get some revenue.

It used to add 7 days when I used Max.

same with privacy on, big ad for facebook on lockscreen and warning "only 11 hours left"
