Bookmarks in V30 GONE

since opera upgraded to 30 my bookmarks have disappeared and no joy when i try to import them,this issue with bookmarks has gone on far too long

I recommend that you back up your bookmarks regularly, for example before every update. Do that by copying the file named "Bookmarks" in C:\Users\ username \AppData\Roaming\Opera Software\Opera Stable to another location, and if your bookmarks disappears for some reason, just close Opera, replace the Bookmarks file with your copy, and when you open Opera your bookmarks will... should be back.

Your bookmarks are still there, its just the bookmarks section of the Opera menu is broken. Its a known issue and its being worked on. Until then you can still use the bookmarks manager to access your bookmarks.

gustavwiz i do have backups of my bookmarks,passwords etc,regardless of having backups V30 will not import them.

I use the Bookmarks Manager extension, Chrookmarks for Chrome, and all of the bookmarks show up fine when I click on the Chrookmarks icon.

I went to the get extensions and got sidebar extensions for Opera to fix this issue so I can find them easily and the two I tried out are both great.
