@leocg not working, also, I tried turning on/off graphic acceleration(there is no hardware acceleration) but still not working. I installed chromium, it is working on it but not in opera. I installed chromium-codecs-ffmpeg-extra too
Visit each of those sites, click the heart icon on the address bar and choose a thumbnail.
Or, if that doesn't work, delete all the problem ones, goto the URL opera://bookmarks, empty the bookmarks trash, revisit each of those sites, click the heart icon and set a thumbnail.
Finally resolved it by changing some privacy protection settings in operas built in ad blocker. Dunno?? But no more pop ups. thought it maybe useful to you in the future 😉 Thanks for trying to help 🍻

@leocg Opera One - and it has always been there even after fresh installations and new user profile.
I've often wondered why users complain about automatic updates as that didn't happen to me.
@malloc2high Maybe because you have 1700 tabs opened (already tried looking for help by the way?) and it's kinda expected that it will consume resources?
Anyway, as said too many times, you can use Shift Escape to see the processes running in Opera and how much RAM they are using.
