Import Bookmarks and Settings
Go to Menu > File and select “Import Bookmarks and Settings” from the drop-down menu. You will see a pop-up window with a list of browsers to import from, as well as a list of settings you can move from another browser to Vivaldi, such as Bookmarks, Passwords, History and so on.

Just click on the extension icon in the Opera toolbar and select the interval that you want the site to be refreshed in automatically from the menu that opens.

Thank you again for your assistance and reply.
I tried to find an "autoplay terminator" on Opera but did not find anything because most of them are about Youtube.
Nothing about DM (DailyMail.co.uk) !
To read DM, I will follow your advice by switching to Chromium or Chrome, with a heavy preference for Chromium.
I will let you know about my user experience with this McAfee extension.

My best bet would be to uninstall and reinstall Opera again.

You could also try logging out of the Opera browser, as this may cause an error.

@highlandspring Unfortunately I don't think I am the guy you are looking for!...

...But I do have some information instead.

Chrome extensions are compatible for Opera and most Chromium-based browsers.

If you have an extension for Chrome, then it should work with Opera.

Yes, it does look like one of those. I used to have an HP laptop, it looks like one which follows their design pattern.

@henriquepz I don't find the page that critical of Opera. For example, the page should be advertising Firefox more, such as in the extensions. The thing is though, they say that Chromium browsers have a lot more extensions (which is true), but I find it quite bizarre that they would let users know about that. I would have thought that they would have been very biased?

The only solution for me was to set another browser as my default.

FF is lower on CPU and faster on some things, in respect to Chromiums.

I have FF and Chrome as Portable but they are mostly used for tests.

You would set them up for different things when one lacks features from another.

Here are 3 or 4 Profiles for each one depending of the needs.

I heard in a video from Linus Tech Tips that the Opera VPN is more of a proxy than a VPN. Apparently it has some bad publicity.

My best bet would be to just use private mode.

It also comes with a built in VPN so you can use unrestricted sites 😉
