I have seen a line of new budget Nomi phones, with at least of 32 mb of internal memory and 32 mb of operative memory (despite I ask here what operative memory as well as internal consumes opera-mini 4.5). I think it should be enough?
Indeed I fear that opera mini 4.5 stopped of production - as I do not see any answer here?!
Although the 2g traffic speed should be some bottleneck, as well I do not know should these Nomi phones support
java jar apps??
That page looks familiar, but my bug reports are typically stamped "Windows 7" so I must have used the desktop form. The bug ticket autoresponder mentions that
All bug reports are read and handled by our staff. However, please note that you will not receive a personal reply to the bug report, unless we need more information to investigate the bug.
So I would still like to think they've been filed accordingly.
@leocg Wow, that's sad. I have a Nokia E63 running S60v3 with OoeraMini v7.1 that still shows syncing activity only that it doesn't reflect on my account or other Opera browsers (Android and Windows versions). Guess l have to manually export all my bookmarks and speed dial content to the others.
If you try to gzip all the text that is on the page, you get 44kB of data. You could possibly go below with some different compression algorithm, but not very much.
Opera Mini compression will be visible more likely on some more advanced pages with CSS, JS, images etc. On the page provided, there's simply not much that can be compressed.
