That's too bad... It's the only thing preventing me from switching to Opera.

Minimum tab size or maximum number of visible tagsOpera for Windows
I'm currently a Firefox user, but there's one thing I really miss in Firefox and that's tab groups. So I've downloaded Opera to try it out and so far I like it but for one thing: the way it handles many tabs.
In Firefox I have multiple windows open, and most windows have 20+ tabs open. One even has almost 300 tabs open (please don't tell me I need to organize it differently. This is the way I work and my workflow is optimized for this). Firefox uses tab scrolling just as Opera does with one big difference. Firefox will never display so many tabs at once so that the tab content becomes unreadable.
Here are both tab bars with exactly the same tabs open:
The top one is Firefox, the bottom one Opera. With the opera tab bar, I can't make out what each tab is.
So is there a way to either set a minimum size for tabs, or a maximum number of tabs visible?

BTW, is Opera's lay out CSS driven (like Firefox)?
