I use Opera on all my PC's, home desktop, home laptop, work desktop, work laptop. I want to sync my bookmarks/etc between the devices but I don't want my home desktop to be overwritten by my work desktop or vice versa. I just want access to the other's bookmarks from another location or even somehow merging them rather than overwriting.
Worst case, I'd be happy if I could just have all my other systems sync from my home desktop using it as the "master" sync system.
Is this possible? I've tried asking Opera themselves but they haven't even responded & it's been months.

RE: [Solved][Duplicated]Icons Blackened OutOpera GX
Thank You!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just right-clicking and selecting 'disable forced dark mode' was enough to get it back where it should be. I did the same to the other pages that weren't displaying properly and they have been restored to normal as well. Thank you very much, you've made it possible to use Gmail again without having to switch browsers.
Now I just need to figure out how/why the stupid program is deleting my workspaces and how to get them back. I enabled 'sync' for everything But "open tabs", so it shouldn't have touched my workspaces. Instead it deleted ALL my workspaces and tabs from my work PC and even deleted a couple that were on my personal laptop at home, then filled them all with empty tabs. I had Very important data/sites contained in the workspaces for my work PC. How Do I Get Them Back????
I've disabled syncing entirely now, just to be safe. But I was hoping to sync things like the settings/history/passwords/etc like its supposed to be able to do....without screwing up my entire browsing experience and ruining my month. -
[Solved][Duplicated]Icons Blackened OutOpera GX
I have Opera GX on my main desktop and work PC without this problem. I recently installed it on my laptop and from the beginning, all icons/pictures are blackened out. This especially affects my Gmail page, where I can't see the icons for the functions/groups, making it almost unusable.
I've made sure the version is up-to-date and reset the settings, to no avail.

[Duplicated]Workspaces DeletedOpera for Windows
I have Opera installed on my work computer and I recently installed it on my home computer as well. I turned on the 'sync' feature but customized it for just settings/history/passwords and made sure to leave 'open tabs' Disabled. Yet when I came in to work this morning, I noticed that the stupid freaking program had Synced my workspaces between the browsers and Deleted All The Workspaces I Had Open on my work computer with Dozens of tabs that I Need Back.
I've checked the history and the deleted workspaces/tabs aren't showing up in there. How the hell do I get back the workspaces the stupid thing deleted and how do I keep it from deleting them again????

RE: Opera GX - Disable Workspace Sync???Opera GX
@leocg That seems to be working, thank you.
Of course, I lose color syncing and other features, it would be nice if workspace sync was its own slider.

Suggestion - Display Workspace Names in SidebarOpera GX
Again, moving from Chrome and grouped tabs to workspaces, I'm having a hard time distinguishing the workspaces from each other. I chose an icon for each, but that icon doesn't really mean anything. We should be able to replace the icon with the name of the workspace itself. I understand it would make the sidebar wider, but I'd rather have a wider sidebar, then not know what workspace is what without hovering over each one. The text could be small too.
I'm just thinking up ideas for how to make the workspaces easier to identify, like the colored icons.

Suggestion - Colored Sidebar/Workspace IconsOpera GX
I'm trying to use workspaces instead of grouped tabs from Chrome, but it was easy to tell what was what in Chrome because it had the group name and color. In Opera, I only see an icon and all the icons are the same color. It should be really easy to allow colored workspace icons.

Opera GX - Disable Workspace Sync???Opera GX
I'm new to Opera Gx, after constantly hearing good things, especially about its memory usage compared to Chrome, I decided to give it a try.
One feature in Chrome that was critical for me was the tab grouping. From what I understand, the equivalent option in Opera GX is workspaces, which is fine. It's not quite the same but it might work out OK. But I've already run into a problem as soon as I installed and set up Opera GX on my work computer. I set up workspaces for the first computer as I needed them on That computer. I also logged in so that it would sync my bookmarks, as I did with Chrome. But when I did that, it also synced my workspaces. This is a problem. I don't need my workspaces synced across multiple computers. In fact, I need to make sure they don't sync. I have very different workspace needs for my work PC compared to my home PC.
Is there any way to disable/turn off the workspace sync without turning off the sync altogether? (if there isn't, there Really needs to be)
God bless Ukraine,
