@silverdesertrain Yes, I'm sure. I have about double that many tabs open across four windows currently and 96.0.4693.50 isn't doing the annoying random moving of tabs any more. My previous 'fix' to the problem was the suggestion by another on this thread of copying the contents of a previous working build into the folder of the broken build and that worked fine. A lot less painful than the reset and restore you went through.

RE: [Solved][Duplicated]Tabs randomly move to the rightOpera for Windows
@burnout426 Thanks for the rollback link. I chose the 'copy' method vs the uninstall / reinstall. I just killed the Opera process in Task Mgr, copied the '96.' rev to a new folder, deleted the contents of the 96 folder, copied the contents of the '95' rev into the 96, starting Opera and no more randomly sliding tab bullshit!

RE: [Solved][Duplicated]Tabs randomly move to the rightOpera for Windows
After the most recent update to Opera 96.0.4693.20 (Desktop version on Windows 10), my browser tabs, after clicking on a given one, will move some number of tabs, typically to the right, from the place that it was. This is really annoying and I don't see how to stop it as it's never done this before. I looked for a setting, and the closest thing I could see was "Cycle tabs in most recently used order" under the User Interface section of Settings. It was on/active so I turned it off and it didn't change the behavior, they still move around on their own.
Is there something else in Settings that will stop this annoyance?
