Thanks for the answer. But the main question was using Opera with private browsing as the default, which no one has answered

While on the subject of open "Open where I last left off" why won't Opera open a private window if that is where I last left off?

Is there an Applescript command that would open Opera without a window?

I want Opera to open with private browsing selected. Have tried to do the following

Opened Applescript Editor and typed:

do shell script "open -a /Applications/Opera.app --args -newprivatetab"

Saved as application

But Opera still opens as a regular window when I click the icon created by Applescript

I'm using Mac 10.94 with a MacBook Air laptop
