Hi everyone,
Opera is asking me to log in to each site again after computer reboot or Opera restart.
Am I missing an important setting or is this a bug?
Any advice appreciated.

Opera latest stable (116.0.5366.127)
Happens to me daily. I'm really very frustrated and angry about this.
It's been a couple of updates since this issue started and Opera doesn't seem to even care or notice.
I already stopped using the built-in Messengers because I don't want to login in every day.
It's pure PITA, I'm using Opera since around 1999 with Version 3 and suffered many times when they decided to abandon Presto engine and left Opera with almost no function other than stupid browsing and the later switch to Opera One where, again, many features stopped working and still I'm staying loyal to the red "O".
Now, is there any way to reach the developers or any other department or is there anything else I could do to get this issue fixed?
I'm lost. Log in, log out, log in again, confirm via mobile app or SMS and being logged off one more time...
This should definitely not happen. Could it be a setting I made or something with my Windows?
Cookies? Cache? Anything else?
I highly appreciate any help.
Hi everybody.
After an update Opera has reset do defaults, although my data is still present on the computer.
Everything is there on C:...\AppData\Opera Stable.. - Bookmarks, Extensions, History, Passwords, etc.
Opera just won't load it anymore.
I know that the default shortcut (which is created on the Desktop upon installation) starts the launcher.exe which again starts the current opera.exe in the default directory.
I wish back the times of the very old Opera (V12 and back) where everything was stored in a human-readable *.ini and you had full control over Opera.
Well, back to topic, is there any way I can load / restore my settings?
I'm lost...
Hello everbody,
with the new Opera One I am frequently logged out of all active websites.
This also happens with the messengers (like WhatsApp).
It is really very annoying to have to verify each single account again and again.
In WhatsApp I have to link a "new" device and for ebay I need verification per SMS.
I would highly appreciate any hint to resolve this issue or an information if this is a common bug being already processed by Opera.
Many thanks in advance
It would be great to have native support of customizing speed dial images like in the "old" Opera (v12 and later).
While this solution may be acceptable for the advanced user, it still is a little too complicated for the daily use.
So I hereby kindly request this feature and hope to see it in a future release.
Hello,
I would like to create a batch script that opens a new tab instead of a new window.
The reason for this is that I have a multimedia keyboard with a "browser button" that start the default browser with a new window.
Unfortunately there is no way to change this behavior in the keyboard software, it only accepts applications (*.exe files).
So I want to create a batch script, that opens a new tab in Opera and only if Opera is not running it will open a new window)
Then I just convert the batch file to an executable (with Advanced BAT to EXE Converter) and place it somewhere on the disk.
Only then am I able to assign the exe to my browser key.
The problem is that the "browser key" start the application, not a link (which would rather open in a new tab), so I need to bypass this behavior somehow. Maybe somebody has another idea than the command line switch.
I couldn't find anything on the internet, only for the old Opera.
Since Opera is built on Chromium I also searched for Chromium switches, but couldn't find anything suitable.
Any help appreciated.
