How to set "y" as a shortcut for Youtube search engine?

Currently it is being blocked by jahoo, which I don't use, and seems like it cannot be removed for some reason.
There should be at least an option to change keywords for default search engines, I don't need them blocking my own keywords!

This is weird, because the only time Opera crashes for me is when I have like 100+ pages open without closing them, then the system runs out of memory.

Other than that, I haven't seen Opera crashing just by itself, or from visiting any specific site.

For compatibility problems - yeah, these do exist.
Firefox has an addon with the ability to load certain pages using IE, not sure if there is anything like that for Chrome/Opera.

First, I tried to restore Bookmarks.bak file - removed Bookmarks and renamed Bookmarks.bak to Bookmarks - nothing happened, maybe it was overwritten too.

Next, I tried my old profile.
I confirmed that my old profile does still have bookmarks by launching it in a different copy of Opera.
Then I transferred Bookmarks and Bookmarks.bak from old profile to new one - nothing happens, still zero Speed Dials on new Opera I am using currently.

My conclusion - Bookmarks file does not hold Speed Dials.

I accidentally wiped all of my Speed Dials when changing something in Xmarks bookmarks sync extension.

Does Opera keep some form of bookmarks backup by itself which I can use?
If not, what file do I need to restore from my old manual backup for this?

Opera sync for bookmarks was disabled so that won't do anything for me.

Why? This is a standard function in ALL existing browsers, including old < 13 version Opera.

Vertical representation of tabs is far superior to horisontal one.

You can view far more tabs in a vertical list and still have the ability to see tab names, which isn't possible with a lot of tabs on a tab bar.

Now, several extensions already grant the ability to view tabs vertically.

For Opera specifically: Tab Sidebar

For Chrome and Opera: Tabs Outliner

Both of these have tab stacking already.

Duplicating this functionality for outdated method of representing tabs horisontally on a tab bar is just a waste of time.

Yeah I know that, I am asking what specific software people actually use for this.

And what folders should be skipped when performing backups, since backing up all sorts of cached media data takes huge amounts of space and completely meaningless.

What software to use for making periodic profile backups?

And which directories do not need to be backed up?
Cache I guess is one, what else?

I can't seem to find how to resize / reorder url bar and extension bars, can't reorder/move extension buttons, can't show extension buttons that are hidden because there is no space on the extension bar.
In other browsers extension buttons that can't fit on extension bar can be viewed in a drop-down list - in Opera there is no list, buttons are just hidden and cannot be accessed..........

I mean, this project is based on Chromium, it has all these featueres, so why aren't they here?

Sadly I can't use dev builds since I am on portable version, any other solutions?

Is there a reason why Opera devs removed extension toolbar button reordering from Chromium? Was that officially stated somewhere?

I see this is not a recent thing, people have been asking for it to be added back for years now.

I have two problems with extension buttons:

a) I don't see any way to reorder them. This is a very basic feature, and it exists in Chromium, so why isn't it here???

b) After a certain time when I added new extensions they stoped showing up in the toolbar. Digging around revealed that extensions themselves were fine, Opera simply doesn't show them because the space on the toolbar is fixed and there doesn't seem to be any way to increase it... why??????? I can't use around a third of extensions since they only work from the button which is not being shown.

So, basically, how do I reorder extension buttons, and how do I show the ones that are enabled, but hidden due to not enough space on toolbar?
