Version: 27.0.1683.0 finally showed there was an update, but not every time I checked. At any rate, I'm now updated.

In the past, when I click on About Opera, it reflected a new update, when there was one.
Right now it doesn't show the newest update:

According to Softpedia, nobody wanted Hangouts support. :p

Thanks! Without reading your reply, I noticed there was an update to opera-developer. Once installed, I can now use google-talk-plugin! Works great!

Google talk is a different plugin and we do not yet support it but that is being worked on right now so expect this to be rectified in a future release.
Thank you! When that becomes available, OPERA will be my only browser.

Anyway a ppapi plugin is now available on Linux. So we have a bug open to start using it. Hopefully this can be fixed soon.

Thanks for the info. pepper plugin is now installed, but google talk still doesn't work. It keeps asking to insall googletalk, which I've already installed. Both Chrome & Firefox work using googletalk.
