Indeed, this graphical change was somewhat under-advertised. From now on, the private tab favicon will contain the open lock. If you want to be sure this is the case, please close Opera, temporarily move your profile to another location, relaunch the browser and open a new private window. The new private window launched for the first time should pretty much explain everything.
Later on, please close Opera and restore your profile to the previous location.
