Opera’s built-in VPN only applies to Opera itself, not Chrome or other Windows apps. So it shouldn’t directly affect Chrome. If Facebook is slow afterward, check Chrome’s proxy/DNS settings, extensions, or simply restart the network connection. You could also compare Chrome with Opera while Opera VPN is completely turned off.
