Download a 2.3 Gb files Opera takes 8-9 hours. Download same files with Google 8 Minutes.
I tested several times download big files and I got the same: Opera extremely slow. Help ??

Found the explanation, I downloaded while VPN was active/on.
Great teaching, read the guide first, opera help says VPN could affect the speed of your connection.
Download the 2GB file I got the same values with Opera (VPN off), Firefox and Google (4-7 minutes)
Instead Tor took about 30 minutes.

I tried download this file myself with Opera (100 Mb 7 minutes) and Google (all 2 Gb 4 minutes). Unbelievable. There will certainly be a reason, but which one ??
I do have Opera 67.0.3575.97 Windows 10 Pro 64bit v.1909

I have disabled Windows Defender and Malwarebytes. I don't have any other security programs
