Opera 34 on Windows10 update fails. Unable to uninstall.

Opera 34.0.2036.47 on Windows 10 Pro 64 bit 1511 10586.104 Does not update upon navigation to Help/about. It's also unable to uninstall Opera in order to download & install the latest Opera version.
